Teach English in Finland

Teaching English is probably the most popular not to mention easiest way for native English speakers to make money while abroad. In Finland teaching English works very badly, so you better have another plan if you come here.

Teaching English can be good way to get started, however, but you are bound to land only part time gigs at various language teaching companies. These companies usually function so that you are being dispatched to run couple of evening classes in different institutes or employment education related courses sometimes scoring an odd private student. You won’t starve, but you’ll live a life of inefficient time management and minimal budget. Daily life on a shoestring doesn’t have quite the same ring as what it does with traveling.

Unemployment office is probably the best place to start and then comes sleuth of work agencies. If you have suitable degree (Finland is all about degrees) you might want to check up what Universities and other educational institutions have to offer.
